 Registration for HPBExpo 2010 in Orlando kicked off on September 1st. It's HPBA's 30th Anniversary! Expo is our once-in-a-year opportunity to gather under one roof and see thousands of the finest hearth, patio and barbecue products on display.
When you take the time to INVEST in your business by attending Expo in Orlando, you can expect an unmatched return in both knowledge and profit opportunities. Many believe that attending Expo Orlando is more important now that previous years to ensure they stay on top of industry changes and product innovation. This award-winning trade show (recognized as one of the 100 largest and most influential shows in the U.S. by "Trade Show Executive") can be singularly the most important event you and your colleagues attend this year.Collectively, our industries have many exciting opportunities in 2010.  Howl At The Moon is home to the World’s Greatest Rock ‘N’ Roll Dueling Piano Show! Our highly talented entertainers will tickle the ivories as well as your funny bones all night while playing the best music from the 70’s to today. We are the perfect spot to party: from Bachelorette parties to divorce parties, we do it all! Audience participation is a must, so be ready to clap, sing, dance, and howl!
The Show: Howl at the Moon's piano players take the stage two at a time. The entertainers play for one hour and then yield the stage to two new players. At the changeover, all four piano players stay on stage for what is known as a "four-way." The four-way occurs at the end of each hour and lasts for two to three songs.  It has been a very challenging year economically for us all. The entire hearth industry has suffered. The financial experts say that we have hit the bottom, and the only way to go is up. We'll all be looking forward to that! Cold weather finally arrived and has hopefully kept everyone's schedule full. It's now time to make plans to attend EXPO as you wind down the hearth season and get the grills and patio equipment out. We in the Mid-Atlantic are lucky that EXPO is being held on our side of the country this year. About a third of you have responded to the EXPO Reception RSVP request and we thank you! We'd like to hear from the rest of you because, in order to stay on budget, we need accurate figures to plan. Please help us out by letting us know if you will or will not be joining us Wednesday evening, March 10th, for what is undoubtedly going to be the most enjoyable party during EXPO week. There is no question, after the year we have all just been through, we deserve to have some fun, and we are confident that food, drink and dueling pianos will fill the bill! Each year MAHPBA offers manufacturers, reps & distributors in the Mid-Atlantic region the opportunity to sponsor our Annual Meeting which is returning to The Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center. Due to popular demand, we are kicking it up a notch for 2010 with design changes that will appeal to sponsors and attendees. Centrally located, The Lancaster Host has always drawn a big crowd.
